Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking an Anesthesia Aide to support the anesthesia care team. The role involves assisting in preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia.

The Anesthesia Aide collaborates with licensed anesthesia providers in various settings and may perform clinical tasks within scope of practice. Hospital experience is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, disinfect, stock, order and maintain the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist with anesthesia case set up
• Assist anesthesiologist/CRNA/Resident/tech/as requested, as long as within scope of practice. May be clinical.
• Other duties as needed. May be clinical.
