Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Phoenix seeks an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems at a large Class A office building. The role includes on-site work and rotating on-call duties.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in repair/maintenance, trade school or union training, and EPA certification or plan to obtain it within the first year, with JLL assistance. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in repair, maintenance or related work in HVAC, plumbing or electrical.
• Trade school/union training desirable.
• EPA CFC certification or plan to obtain within first year with employer support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to tenant service requests.
• Operate and maintain CMMS work orders daily and assist with on-call duties.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and participate in trainings.
• On-site presence at the 237,000 sq ft Class A building and support projects.
