Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an Operating Engineer to support the operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in a large office building. You will join a small engineering team and handle a range of tasks from routine maintenance to PMs, with on-site presence required and rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training or military service is desirable.
• EPA certification or interest in achieving it within first year with employer assistance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and on-demand repairs of MEP systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing and controls issues on site.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and document tasks completed.
• Support on-call rotations and safety training programs.
