Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a facilities maintenance technician to support a community in Indian Land, SC. You will perform mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance, manage CMMS work orders, and execute preventive maintenance with safety and customer service emphasis.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in repair/maintenance, EPA certification, and proficiency with MS Office. Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work onsite in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, inspection and maintenance processes for mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems
• Work as part of an engineering team of 3 supporting facility maintenance at a community in Indian Land, SC
• Complete painting, pressure washing, lighting system, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, locksmith and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain the CMMS work order system daily and complete service requests
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
• Support on-call or emergency response situations, if applicable
• Troubleshoot all building systems
• Comply with safety procedures
• Participate in technical, safety and operational process training programs
• Complete other assigned projects and tasks
