Job summary

JLL seeks a Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at an on-site facility in Indian Land, SC area. This entry-level role offers growth within engineering and a Monday–Friday schedule.

You'll join a small engineering team and participate in safety and technical trainings while handling work orders in CMMS and maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Trade school, union training, military service, or college desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 ft.
• Willingness to climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive as required.
• Strong customer service skills and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry and painting.
• Complete work orders in CMMS and document service activities.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in safe, organized condition.
• Work under direction of Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers, participating in trainings.
• Support on-call or emergency response when needed.

Maintenance Technician

What this job involves:

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.

You will work as part of an engineering team of 3 at a supporting facility maintenance at a community in Indian Land, SC.

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentation
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
• Work closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned
