JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems at a large Class A office campus. The role is based on-site with regular hours and rotating on-call duties.

You will join a maintenance team, perform preventive tasks, manage work orders, and assist in safety trainings while contributing to high standards of facility reliability.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• OSHA-10 certification must be achieved within first 90 days.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance (as allowed by any licensing requirements).
• Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
• Comply with all safety procedures
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned

The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. You will work as part of an engineering team of 5 at a 1M square foot Class A office campus.

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday + rotating on-call (1 week on call every 4 weeks)

Salary: $63,0000 to $73,000

What your day-to-day will look like:
