Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a senior OpenText ECM Consultant to design, configure, and manage an OpenText Extended ECM platform tailored for engineering stateflows. You’ll collaborate with engineers across multiple functions and serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and the OpenText support team.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in enterprise ECM, with deep knowledge of OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, and AMS support.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience supporting enterprise ECM platforms.
5+ years of hands-on OpenText Content Server AMS/support experience.
Experience in AMS or managed services with ticketing SLAs.
Experience with OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) or SAP-integrated environments.
Experience with AWS/Azure or comparable cloud integrations.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering solutions to support document management, project execution, and asset lifecycle.
Design and configure state-based workflows to automate reviews, approvals, and change management.
Provide expertise on content repository setup, metadata management, security frameworks, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure collaboration between internal engineering teams and external partners via Workspaces and secure file-sharing tools.
Monitor system performance, dashboards, and analytics to suggest improvements.
Develop technical documentation and provide training to end-users and IT teams on system capabilities.
