Job summary

American Social - Boca Raton is seeking a friendly host to welcome guests, manage seating, and maintain a positive dining experience. The role requires excellent English communication, the ability to handle busy shifts, and a willingness to work closely with servers and managers to ensure smooth guest flow.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating and waiting list management, using the seating system, answering calls, and assisting with front-of-house tasks while upholding sanitation

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Works weekends and holidays as required.
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food handling certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Seat guests, manage waiting list, and notify waiting guests when seating is available.
• Utilize seating system to ensure proper guest flow and communicate updates to staff.
• Answer phones with directions, hours, and take-out information.
• Assist with stocking station supplies and keeping front-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Support marketing initiatives and work with team to deliver guest service.
