Job summary

Harri in Boca Raton is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage the waiting list, and coordinate seating using our restaurant system. You will work with servers and managers to ensure smooth guest flow and a positive first impression.

The role requires 18+, willingness to work late shifts, fluency in English, and basic food safety knowledge. Prior alcohol awareness or food handling certification is a plus; weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to work late-night shifts.
• Alcohol awareness certification (e.g. Serv Safe, TIPs) a plus.
• Food handling certificate a plus.
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Seats guests, maintains the waiting list, and notifies waiting guests when seating is available.
• Uses seating system (e.g. Open Table) to ensure proper guest flow.
• Communicates with servers and managers regarding table availability and large party seating.
• Assists with stocking host area and maintaining cleanliness of lobby and restrooms.
• Answers phone, provides directions, hours, take-out information, and takes orders as needed.
• Supports coworkers with stocking, bussing, sweeping, and resetting tables.
• Works with Managers on duty and supports Marketing initiatives.
