Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the CloudV team to evolve and stabilize the OpenStack platform, driving it to enterprise-grade virtualization. You will own end-to-end lifecycle automation, reducing manual work and boosting reliability across internal product teams.

You will contribute to observability pipelines and tenant-facing functionality, enabling faster, more agile development and scalable platform operations in a distributed environment of engineers and operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud engineering experience
• 1+ years with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 1+ years with Docker
• 1+ years with CI/CD or DevOps systems

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle automation of the OpenStack platform
• Contribute to observability frameworks and telemetry pipelines
• Develop tenant-facing functionality to simplify cloud resource consumption
• Improve reliability and reduce manual intervention across the platform
