Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a platform engineer toOwn the observability stack, API surface, and production control plane for its hyperscale fleet. You will ensure the fleet remains legible from site to device, define contracts for infrastructure tools, and lead zero-touch hardware onboarding with ZTP, DHCP, DNS, and artifacts.

You will design scalable APIs, reduce toil, and drive incidents to root cause fixes while collaborating across teams using AI tooling and modern workflows.

Qualifications

• Toil is a bug: build systems that remove repetitive work.
• Design APIs that age well and avoid leaky abstractions at scale.
• Thrive in ambiguity, map complexities, explain clearly to others.
• Rapid learning in unfamiliar domains with real competence.
• Handle incidents on pager, drive postmortems and fixes.
• Familiar with AI tooling and coding with AI assistants.

Responsibilities

• Own the observability platform: build data pipelines, decor & correlation engine, health checks for fleet.
• Define and build the API surface for infrastructure and tooling used by Fluidstack teams.
• Build production control plane and Kubernetes-based infra underpinning it all.
• Maintain fleet state as truth, manage SLOs and site lifecycle state.
• Land new hardware into the platform; handle ZTP, DHCP, DNS, artifacts for new XPUs.
