Job summary

Smoothie King in Texas is hiring Team Captain to lead shifts, set pace and standards, run a shift huddle, and ensure smooth store operations while the GM is away. You will supervise Crew Members, manage labor, labeling and food safety, and uphold the "Serve to Inspire" culture.

Minimum 6 months of guest service experience and proven leadership in fast-paced environments are required or highly preferred. This role offers a clear path to store leadership and positive guest impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and direct a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior leadership experience at work or school organizations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Supervision: Serve as team leader during shifts, setting pace and standards for the team.
• Operational Management: Ensure efficient use of labor hours and adherence to labeling and food safety standards.
• Guest Service Excellence: Ensure guests receive excellent service and handle complaints effectively.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Share important information with management and think quickly under pressure.
• Delegation and Team Management: Assign tasks to complete daily checklists and mentor team members.
• Ethics and Integrity: Handle cash and inventory reporting honestly.
• Self-Development: Be willing to take on new tasks and seek feedback to improve performance.
