Job summary

Dream Golf's Wild Spring Dunes in East Texas is building a premier golf resort from the ground up. You’ll join the opening kitchen team, shaping standards, systems, and culture from day one, with special focus on the griddle and fryer to showcase quality ingredients.

As a full-time role on the PM shift (12pm–8/9pm), you’ll handle a station, prep and serve to order, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and timely delivery to guests. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong cooking skills with a focus on quality food preparation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Consistently maintains a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and appearance.
• Ability to problem-solve, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Possess the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Manage a designated station in the kitchen, preparing dishes to order with attention to detail while ensuring the station is properly stocked and organized.
• Prepare and serve food according to established specs.
• Coordinate food orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery to guests.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines for special food requests, particularly those related to allergies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and kitchen equipment according to company policies and health regulations.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure and safe kitchen environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to personal cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, requisitioning items needed for menu preparation.
• Properly store ingredients and products, ensuring proper covering and dating.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support the kitchen operations.
