Job summary

Wild Spring Dunes in East Texas is opening a new resort kitchen, building standards, systems, and culture from day one. You will work primarily on the griddle and fryer, crafting dishes that showcase quality ingredients in a setting where golf meets wilderness.

As part of the opening team, you will take on extra responsibility and help shape how the kitchen operates, with opportunities to influence workflow and guest experiences from the start.

Qualifications

• Strong cooking skills focused on quality food preparation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated kitchen station and keep it organized and stocked.
• Prepare and serve food to order according to established specs.
• Coordinate food orders for timely guest delivery.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines, including allergy handling.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment per policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory and requisition items needed for menus.
• Properly store ingredients with date labeling.
• Perform additional tasks to support kitchen operations.
• Work independently or in small teams.
