Job summary

Seerist is seeking an Open-Source Investigations Analyst to join our Research & Collections team in Reston, VA. You will investigate and assess sources underpinning the platform, determine reliability, and help translate user information needs into research priorities.

You will work with colleagues across research, product, data science, and commercial teams to improve source coverage and shape the Seerist platform. Hybrid role with three days in Reston office.

Qualifications

• Proficient in open-source research methods and source verification.
• Ability to assess provenance, reliability, and limitations of sources.
• Analytical thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Discover, assess, and access online media sources relevant to Seerist’s users.
• Investigate misinformation sources and networks and assess their influence.
• Track changes in information landscapes and assess implications for research and collection work.
• Support product development and testing with research feedback.
• Understand users’ requirements and translate them into research priorities.
• Explain source coverage and capabilities to customers and prospects.
