Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Online Threat Intelligence Researcher to conduct open-source intelligence research supporting a major client’s threat program. The role focuses on Person of Interest research and persistent situational awareness across employee, facility, and event security.

Responsibilities include monitoring OSINT alerts, deep-dive investigations, and producing concise reports. The position supports hybrid work arrangements and aims to reduce noise while enhancing intelligence

Qualifications

• Open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis experience.
• Ability to produce concise written reports with attention to detail.
• Experience directing, collecting, and analyzing information to produce actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage high-volume OSINT alerts identifying risks to employees.
• Conduct deeper-dive investigations and provide actionable insights for incident response.
• Support responses for incidents affecting remote employees and travelers during active events.
• Refine search queries and alerting to reduce noise and improve intelligence quality.
• Produce written reports outlining findings from threat monitoring and OSINT research.
• Collaborate with Corporate Security leadership to prioritize alerts and improve processes.
