Description

The Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of NewEngland College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications fromindividuals who possess interest, experience, and enthusiasm forteaching in an integrated curriculum with a team of biomedical andclinical faculty, as well as a record of innovative biomedicalresearch. We are looking for individuals with expertise in teachingmicrobiology to medical students. Candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching and possess thedesire to develop skills in this area. Experience with case-basedteaching in a non-lecture format is preferred. We are seeking candidates for a Teaching-trackposition. Candidates for the Teaching-track would primarily haveteaching and university/college/departmental servicesresponsibilities, but could engage in research and scholarship. UNEhas strengths in neuroscience, with a collaborative group ofneuroscience investigators examining the neurobiology of painacross a variety of pre-clinical models, using sophisticatedimaging, molecular, and behavioral analyses. Additional strengthsin research include anatomy, cell signaling, metabolic diseases,immunology and infectious diseases, and medical education.
