Job summary

University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center seeks an open rank surgeon in the Division of Plastic Surgery to provide the full spectrum of breast cancer reconstruction. The role includes close collaboration with the Division of Surgical Oncology and UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, and active involvement in resident education within an academic environment.

The ideal candidate will be mid-career or senior, board-eligible or board-certified in plastic surgery, and eligible for NM licensure.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or equivalent.
• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Plastic Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Eligible for State of New Mexico Board.
• Eligible for New Mexico Pharmacy certification and federal DEA registration.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of breast cancer reconstruction.
• Collaborate with UNM Division of Surgical Oncology and UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
• Engage in graduate medical education and resident mentorship.
• Contribute to division growth and academic mission.
