The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque invites a mid-career Plastic Surgeon to join the Division of Plastic Surgery. The successful candidate will provide the full spectrum of breast cancer reconstruction and work closely with surgical oncology teams at UNMCCC.

This academic role emphasizes resident education within an integrated plastic surgery residency, contributions to research, and participation in a dynamic academic medical center that serves New Mexicans.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent is required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Eligible for State of New Mexico Board (medical) licensure.
• Eligible for New Mexico Pharmacy certification and federal DEA registration.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of Breast Cancer Reconstruction.
• Collaborate with the UNM Division of Surgical Oncology and UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
• Engage in graduate medical education through an integrated plastic surgery residency program.
• Contribute to research, education, and clinical service at a leading academic medical center.
