Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America in Nevada is seeking a Superintendent, Mine Maintenance to lead maintenance and reliability for mobile and support equipment in an open-pit operation. You will drive safety, budgeting, and asset performance, partnering with Mine Operations, Supply Chain, and OEMs to maximize equipment availability.

The role requires strong leadership, CMMS and RCM expertise, and a track record of delivering maintenance excellence through construction, commissioning, and startup

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive maintenance experience in open-pit mining or heavy industry.
• 3–5 years in leadership or supervisory roles with mobile equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of RC M principles, predictive maintenance, and CMMS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MSHA compliance and site safety during maintenance activities.
• Direct planned maintenance for haul trucks and support equipment fleets.
• Oversee work management: planning, scheduling, execution, and history recording.
• Provide leadership during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Drive equipment performance, reliability, and lifecycle cost improvements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, OEMs, and non-OEM vendors for parts and services.
