Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti North America seeks a Manager, Mechanical Maintenance to lead maintenance strategy and ensure safe, reliable operation of Nevada mining and processing equipment. You will drive budgeting, reliability programs, and contractor management to maximize asset availability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• CMRP or equivalent designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of mechanical and reliability maintenance experience in mining/mineral processing/heavy industry.
• Experience supporting EPCM studies, plant commissioning, ramp-up phases.
• Proficient in asset management (CMMS), RCM, FMEA, and predictive maintenance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance strategy and preventative/predictive programs across mining and processing facilities.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and work management to maximize uptime.
• Integrate maintainability into capital projects and EPCM designs.
