Job summary

CRH is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for open pit mining operations. The role requires operating dozers, track hoes, loaders, and haul trucks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have 3+ years of equipment experience, pass pre-employment screenings, and be willing to travel up to 80% and work nights or weekends as needed. You will follow Foreman directions and assist with training less-experienced staff while upholding OSHA/MSHA procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as haul trucks, bulldozers, excavators, loaders.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (Dozer/Track Hoe/Front End Loader/Haul Truck) in open pit mining operations.
• Perform daily inspections and basic servicing; report major issues.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
