Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate equipment such as Dozer/Track Hoe/Front End Loader and Haul Truck in open pit mine operations. The role requires 2–5 years of loader experience, the ability to travel up to 80% and willingness to work nights, weekends, and outdoors in extreme temperatures.

You will perform inspections, report issues, and assist with training, while adhering to OSHA and MSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years loader operation experience.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to provide I-9 documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment in pit/mining operations.
• Report problems to the Foreman and maintain safe work environment.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections and document results.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Wear PPE as required and follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures.
• Perform general labor duties and other duties as assigned.
