Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our open pit mining team. You will operate dozers, track hoes, front loaders and haul trucks with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience operating heavy equipment in a mining or construction environment, is willing to travel up to 80% and can work nights or weekends as required. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least three years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Experience with loaders and earthmoving equipment preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and work night/weekend shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment in open pit mining.
• Follow Foreman's directions and daily tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and PPE.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe operations.
