Job summary

Power/mation has an immediate opening for an Open Order Specialist to support our Inside Sales team by answering incoming calls, tracking open orders, expediting issues, coordinating fulfillment, maintaining clear communication between internal teams, suppliers & customer to ensure timely delivery. This role is full-time at our Saint Paul office.

2+ years in customer service or order management and experience with Epicor Profit 21 / P21 are preferred; HubSpot is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or order management experience in industrial automation, manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor Profit 21 / P21.
• HubSpot experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track the status of customer orders, shipments, and deliveries.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and sales teams to confirm schedules and resolve delays.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inside sales, and logistics to ensure timely product availability.
• Maintain accurate records of order status, delivery timelines, and customer inventory levels.
• Expedite urgent orders and prioritize based on customer needs or back-orders.
• Troubleshoot supply-chain bottlenecks or disruptions in collaboration with purchasing.
• Partner with other sales personnel and departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare regular open-order reports and assist with quarterly customer-review meetings.
• Professionally answer and direct incoming calls.
