Qualifications

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Education: Associate‘s degree in Surgical Technology Or a Certificate in Surgical Technology
• Work Experience: 1+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative procedures with timely, accurate, and efficient setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and suture are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and be scrubbed prior to induction.
• Run mayo and assist surgeon; adapt to case needs and surgeon preferences.
• Communicate clearly with team; participate in quality improvement.
