Job summary

Carle Health in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced surgical technologist to assist surgeons and perform operative procedures. The role supports direct and indirect patient care within a high-performing operating room team.

Requirements include BLS within 3 months and an Associate's degree or certificate in Surgical Technology; 1+ years of experience is preferred. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or certificate in Surgical Technology.
• 1+ years of experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for operative procedures with timely accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure instruments, equipment, and suture are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and be scrubbed prior to induction.
• Organize case setup including back table and mayo stand.
• Anticipate case needs and collaborate with surgeon.
• Run Mayo independently and adapt to surgeon's technique.
• Support case sequencing and turnover activities.
• Communicate needs clearly with circulating RN and team.
