Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or a certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire is required or expected to be completed soon.
• 1+ years of experience in surgical technology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific operative procedures with timely accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and participate as scrubbed and back table support.
• Collaborate with surgeon to anticipate needs and adjust as necessary.
• Perform case closing activities and turnover to maintain workflow.
