Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners, Inc. seeks a Program Manager of Open Access for CHBS to lead daily access functions and ensure timely services. This role oversees staff performing initial evaluations and assessments and collaborates with the treatment team to meet regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a background in mental health services. Travel and a NY driver’s license are required to support clinic operations and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CASAC-A required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Interest and knowledge base in mental health services.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee walk-in open access to ensure timely access to services across CHBS locations.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly deliverables for areas of oversight.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to ensure accountability.
• Maintain regulatory access requirements (CCBHC, OMH, OASAS).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to meet goals.
• Generate department reports and participate in special projects.
