Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced Knowledge Modeler/Ontologist to design and govern enterprise ontologies for knowledge graphs. You will collaborate with business SMEs, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to translate complex domains into semantic models that power intelligent apps.

The role involves OWL/RDFS/SKOS modeling, ontology governance, and alignment with upper ontologies, with travel 20-80% for client locations in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on ontology engineering or knowledge modeling.
• Experience delivering domain ontologies in enterprise or consulting contexts.
• Bachelor’s in information/CS or related field; master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full ontology lifecycle: requirements, modeling, formal spec, validation, deployment.
• Design T-Box schemas and support A-Box hydration across data sources.
• Create ontologies and vocabularies using OWL, RDF, RDFS, SKOS; map relational data.
• Collaborate with data engineers and AI/ML teams; validate with competency questions.
• Ensure alignment with business goals, governance, and regulatory needs.
