Job summary

FirstDay Foundation is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Developer to configure and maintain the Workday platform, focusing on Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation. You will manage daily help desk tickets, develop reports, and support production stability across HR and business teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience, strong knowledge of business processes, security, and reporting, and will work onsite in San Antonio, TX five days a week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience in functional configuration, implementation, enhancement, and production support.
• Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation.
• Experience with Workday Reporting, including custom/advanced/matrix reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Strong understanding of Workday security and business process configuration.
• Experience managing production support, regression testing, UAT, Workday releases, and deployments.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, test, and enhance Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation functionality.
• Configure and support business processes for hiring, staffing, job changes, employee lifecycle events, recruiting, and compensation.
• Support Recruiting processes including requisitions, candidate management, offers, pre-hire activities, and hiring workflows.
• Develop and maintain Workday custom/advanced/matrix reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Manage daily Workday help desk tickets: review, prioritize, resolve, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support regression testing, UAT, production deployments, and post-production validation.
• Maintain security: security groups, domain security, and reporting access.
