FirstDay Foundation seeks a seasoned Workday Functional Developer to configure and optimize Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation within the Workday platform. You will help maintain daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and build robust reports to meet HR and business needs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with HR, Recruiting, IT, and business teams to continuously improve Workday functionality and user experience in a 100% onsite setting in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on Workday experience in functional configuration, implementation, enhancement, and production support.
Strong expertise in Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, test, and enhance Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation functionality.
Configure and support business processes related to hiring, staffing, job changes, employee lifecycle events, recruiting, and compensation.
Develop and maintain Workday custom reports, advanced reports, matrix reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
Gather reporting requirements and develop accurate and effective reports for business and operational needs.
Manage and maintain Workday help desk tickets daily, including troubleshooting, prioritization, resolution, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Support Workday releases, including impact analysis, testing, and adoption of applicable functionality.
