Job summary

Rollout Systems, LLC in Maryland is seeking a highly motivated Windows/Linux Systems Administrator to join our onsite enterprise IT team supporting a war-fighter customer.

You will deploy and maintain hardware, virtual infrastructure, VMs and containers, perform routine maintenance, backups, DR planning, and secure systems per DoD guidance. You’ll collaborate in Agile planning and provide customer-facing technical support.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience providing engineering solutions in a government software hosting facility.
• Experience maintaining backups, DR plans, and disaster recovery.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Experience documenting knowledge bases, incident actions, and system configurations.
• Experience providing technical customer support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting clientele.
• Deploy and maintain physical/virtual hardware, VMs, and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers/workstations.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge bases.
• Provide customer technical support and best practices guidance.
• Ensure DoD guidance-aligned security and continuous monitoring.
• Participate in Agile project planning and on‑prem networking support.
• Understand Linux and virtual networking.
