Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support Windows desktops, laptops, and virtual servers. You will manage production and development environments, perform patching, testing, PKI tasks, and rollout of customer applications across a large workstation fleet.

The role requires strong Linux experience, DoD IAT II clearance, and a background in secure, policy-driven IT operations within a defense environment.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required OR Four (4) years of additional SA experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Candidate must maintain an IAT level II certification, per DoD Directive 8570.01-M.
• Current US Security Clearance with Polygraph within the last 5 years
• 5 years of recent Linux experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Windows-based desktops, laptops, and virtual server environments.
• Manage production and development virtual servers, including patching and PKI lifecycle activities.
• Oversee installation, packaging, testing, and rollout of customer applications across a large fleet of workstations.
• Provide hardware and software support for distributed computing assets and ensure system accountability.
• Administer procurement for software and hardware and maintain Jira/Confluence documentation.
• Operate a standalone laboratory environment and plan for future network integration.
