Job summary
Rollout Systems in Maryland seeks a Linux Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT for a warfighter customer in an onsite role. You will work within a government hosting facility to ensure secure, reliable operations.
Responsibilities include deploying hardware, managing VMs and containers, performing routine maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery. You will provide technical support, documentation, and follow Agile planning practices.
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of experience in government software hosting facilities or equivalent.
- Experience performing maintenance and configuration on physical and virtual hosts.
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware/software on servers and IT equipment.
- Experience maintaining backups, disaster recovery plans, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering solutions for government customers in a hosting facility.
- Deploy and maintain physical/virtual hardware, VMs, and containers.
- Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers/workstations/IT equipment.
- Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Deploy and maintain software applications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer guidance.
- Maintain system documentation and knowledge base.
