Job summary

Brooksource is seeking motivated Desktop Engineers/Desktop Support Technicians to join our IT support team in Frankfort, Kentucky. This on-site role supports enterprise desktop environments with hands-on troubleshooting and equipment installations.

Two openings exist; interviews will start in the next week or two. Full-time schedule, 8-hour shifts starting around 7–8 AM, with end times 4–5 PM. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, onsite in Frankfort, KY.

Qualifications

• General computer and desktop support knowledge.
• Experience working with Windows operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Frankfort, KY.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Image and deploy Windows 11 workstations.
• Provide desktop support and basic break/fix troubleshooting.
• Assist with hardware and software installations and configurations.
• Perform routine workstation maintenance and support activities.
• Create or modify basic PowerShell scripts (preferred).
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to support end-user computing needs.
