Job summary

Quantam Solutions, based in Frankfort, KY, is seeking a Desktop Engineer/Support Technician to work onsite from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The role focuses on administering desktops, notebooks, and mobile data terminals, with hardware and software support for client systems.

The position requires collaboration with Tier 1 and 3 staff, vendor coordination, and use of the IT ticket system. Travel outside Frankfort is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows desktops, notebooks, and mobile devices.
• Able to work in a team and document technical procedures.
• Provide Tier 2 IT support to personnel.
• Willingness to travel outside Frankfort and pass background checks.

• Main responsibility is to administer client Desktops, Notebooks, and Mobile Data Terminals (and accompanying equipment).
• Hardware and software support, including specialized law enforcement software and devices.
• Assist with IT equipment in client cruisers.
• Work with vendors for support on workstation issues.
• Coordinate with Tier 1 and 3 personnel on support issues.
• Work with the IT Ticket System.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned or needed by the agency.

Our client is seeking a Desktop Engineer/Support Technician to work onsite in Frankfort, KY (8:00am - 5:00pm). This position requires physical work on equipment in Frankfort, KY and travel outside of Frankfort will be necessary. Company vehicle will be provided. Candidates must be able to pass a client background check, drug test, and fingerprinting.
