Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy seeks Technicians for maintenance and operation of wind, solar, and storage assets. Positions range from entry-level Tech 1 to senior Tech 3, with rigorous safety standards and on‑site responsibilities in Snyder, TX.

Training is provided, including a 3–4 week program in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and lodging covered. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Tech 1: 0–1 year renewable energy; HS diploma; basic computer skills; valid driver's license; training; QEW standards.
• Tech 2: 1–2 years renewable energy; HS diploma; schematics; multimeters; QEW standards + system software/industry competency; driver.
• Tech 3: 2+ years renewable energy; HS diploma; deep knowledge of generation theory, arc flash, NEC; QEW standards; driver.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain company property and complete logs, work orders, time tracking, and warranty/inventory documentation.
• Tech levels 2–5 participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation for system monitoring and fault identification.
