Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas seeks a hands-on VOIP/Network Technician to support the USMMA campus in Kings Point, NY. The role focuses on maintaining VOIP systems, Call Manager administration, and conference room tech in a 100% on-site environment.

You will troubleshoot voice, data, and wireless connectivity, collaborate with IT teams, and ensure high-quality communications across voice, video, and data services. A Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience with VOIP Call Manager and telecom troubleshooting.
• 1–3 years supporting network and wireless hardware including access points.
• 1–3 years performing cable pulls, drops and fiber troubleshooting.
• 1–3 years interfacing with ISP connections, demarc extensions, POTS and fax lines.
• Experience with virtual meeting equipment and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and troubleshoot VOIP phones and telecom systems.
• Administer users and licensing within VOIP Call Manager.
• Perform physical network cable pulls and fiber connections.
• Interface with ISPs and manage demarc, fiber, POTS, and fax lines.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot voice, data, and wireless issues.
• Support wireless access points and conference room tech (Polycom, Cisco, ScreenBeam).
• Monitor meeting quality and bandwidth using Teams Admin Center and Azure telemetry.
