Job summary

VARITE is seeking an EX Vendor Specialist in Lehi, UT for a 12-month onsite engagement. You will onboard suppliers, manage POs, track renewals, and coordinate cross-functional activities with Vendor Managers, AP, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years in vendor management, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with tools like GEP Quantum, Ariba, Workday, ServiceNow, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of vendor management, purchasing, procurement operations, or similar fields.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and drive to completion.
• Strong organizational skills and disciplined documentation.
• Sound operational judgment; distinguish routine work from exceptions.
• Problem-solving and persistence across multiple teams and systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication; summarize status and blockers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
• Experience with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and enterprise workflows.
• Familiarity with vendor onboarding, POs, invoices, renewals, scorecards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier onboarding requests in GEP Quantum as directed.
• Gather supplier information and monitor onboarding actions to completion.
• Create purchase requisitions in Ariba after sourcing steps.
• Monitor requisition approvals and purchase-order creation.
• Maintain renewal and expiration trackers for suppliers.
• Organize KPI data and prepare performance materials.
• Document reviews with owners, due dates, and actions.
• Log and track vendor issues, credits, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners; track handoffs.
• Escalate SLA breaches and complex issues for decision making.
• Coordinate invoice exceptions and payments with stakeholders.
• Maintain operational dashboards and audit-ready docs.
• Reconcile information across systems and correct discrepancies.
• Prepare status information for Vendor Managers and stakeholders.
• Identify recurring breakdowns and surface improvements.
