Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring for an Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to process vehicles entering the auction flow. You will enter VIN, stock and dealer data into the SECURE system using a handheld device and ensure accurate tagging and labeling for each vehicle.

The role requires basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license, with safety always prioritized. Overtime may be needed during busy periods, and a day shift is expected at the assigned Cox location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; less than 2 years of related work experience accepted.
• Valid driver's license required for driving vehicles.
• Basic computer skills are required for data entry and application use.

Responsibilities

• Input vehicle details into the SECURE Application using a handheld device for each vehicle.
• Install GPS trackers in OBII Port or with security cable.
• Remove license plates and document them.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work orders and routing labels on vehicles on entry.
• Direct transporters to the correct drop zones and report any damage.
