BETH ISRAEL LAHEY HEALTH’s Quincy Urgent Care Center is seeking a Practice Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, and cross-department collaboration. This role ensures efficient patient flow, budget adherence, and program development across Urgent Care and Medical Specialties.

The position reports to the Nurse Director/Practice Administrator and requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to support hospital-wide goals.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of practice management experience in a medical/ambulatory setting; supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Urgent Care and Medical Specialties Departments and building operations.
• Lead staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
• Coordinate with departments (Radiology, Lab, Inpatient Nursing, etc.) to ensure efficient workflows.
• Develop and implement operational processes to meet budget targets and improve patient outcomes.
• Assist in marketing new providers and ensuring compliance with policies and revenue cycle processes.
• Promote open communication and collaboration across teams and with leadership.
• Travel periodically for outreach and off-site clinics.
