Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking an IT Associate for the travel sector, located in West Los Angeles, onsite. You will be the day-to-day technical resource for staff, handling requests by phone, email, and ticket queue to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware and software issues, provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, managing device rollouts, and coaching colleagues on tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a help desk or IT support role at a travel agency or TMC.
• Solid grasp of the platforms and workflows used by a travel business.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Comfortable with VPN, Wi‑Fi, printing and remote access.
• Experience with a ticketing system.
• Patience and clear communication with non-technical colleagues.
• Driver's license for branch visits.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming support requests by phone, email and ticket queue.
• Diagnose and fix laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, VPN and business apps.
• Close tickets or escalate complex items to senior staff or vendors.
• Set up and decommission accounts and equipment for joiners and leavers.
• Manage user accounts: resets, permissions, access requests.
• Keep hardware inventory accurate and coordinate device rollouts.
• Coach staff on tools and scheduled updates.
