Job summary

Landstar is seeking a driven Recruiting Specialist to connect with prospective Business Capacity Owners (BCOs) and guide them through the onboarding process. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, answer questions, and keep candidates engaged from first contact through application submission.

Ideal candidates have a background in customer service, recruiting, coaching, or sales. The role is onsite in Jacksonville and Rockford, with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of call center, customer service, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Present the Landstar leasing opportunity to prospective BCOs to encourage them to move forward with the application process.
• Make timely follow-up calls to prospective BCOs to encourage completion and submission of applications, answer questions, and address concerns that may cause delays.
• Meet or exceed monthly departmental goals related to calls, leads, completed applications, and leads referred to the Qualification Center.
• Manage daily inbound calls, outbound follow-up calls, emails, administrative responsibilities, and special projects while maintaining department and individual schedules.
• Build positive relationships with prospective BCOs and provide a professional, helpful experience throughout the initial recruiting process.
