Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support domestic transportation operations, coordinating inbound and outbound freight with Kohler distribution centers, customers, and carriers.

You will analyze performance, manage carrier relationships, ensure routing guide compliance, and use Transportation Management Systems to drive service, cost, and productivity improvements. This onsite role at Kohler, WI requires collaboration across teams and a customer-focused mindset, with day-one

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent level of education/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including spreadsheet capability.
• Experience working with SAP and transportation management systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, Intermodal, and other transportation modes.
• Collaborate daily with distribution centers, shipment planning teams, customer service teams, and carrier partners to ensure transportation execution and equipment availability.
• Plan and manage the physical movement of materials and finished goods while balancing service requirements, transportation costs, and operational constraints.
• Monitor transportation performance and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve shipment delays, capacity constraints, and service issues.
