Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support domestic transportation operations, coordinating inbound and outbound freight with internal teams and external carriers. You will optimize routes, monitor performance, and drive cost-effective transportation execution.

The role requires knowledge of TMS, routing guides, and carrier management, with a focus on service, cost, and productivity improvements. Onsite with collaborative cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with transportation management systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and other modes.
• Collaborate with distribution centers, planning teams, customer service, and carriers daily.
• Plan and manage movement of materials to balance service, cost, and constraints.
• Monitor performance, identify delays, communicate issues, and implement improvements.
• Develop carrier relationships and ensure routing guide compliance.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve processes and cost efficiency.
