Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Arlington, VA is seeking a Transition Consultant I to plan and execute the short-term project scope and tasks, primarily on-site with occasional travel for trainings and meetings.

You will supervise less senior staff, serve as the client’s on-site contact, and help manage move activations, FF&E plans, and project documentation while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in related field.
• 2–5 years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop implementation plans for review by senior manager.
• Supervise and guide less senior project staff in implementation of the work.
• Serve as the client's onsite point of contact for related work.
• Facilitate project meetings with client, vendors, move coordinators, etc.
• Develop information for review by more senior staff before presentation to owner for decision making.
• Monitor adherence to contract.
• Act as owner's representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframes.
