Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Transition Consultant I to plan and execute a short-term project scope on a major project. The role is primarily onsite with occasional travel for trainings and meetings. You will supervise junior staff, act as the client’s on-site contact, and facilitate meetings with clients and vendors.

Requirements include a BS or MS in a related field and 2–5 years of project management experience. Strong MS Office skills and knowledge of BIM360, CADD, and Bluebeam are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in related field.
• 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willing to travel and work evenings/weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop implementation plans for review by senior manager.
• Work independently to identify required tasks and initiate activity.
• Supervise and guide less senior project staff in implementation of the work.
• Serve as the client’s onsite point of contact for related work.
• Facilitate project meetings with client, vendors, move coordinators, etc.
