Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Training Supervisor for the Omaha site to own and elevate the hourly production training program on the shop floor. You will partner with Operations and Quality to close training gaps, ensure on-the-job competency, and drive improvements in quality, safety, and productivity.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will manage onboarding, OJT, certification, and trainer effectiveness, develop clear training paths, and maintain audit-ready records in the LMS and skill matrices as the

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or (Associates + 3+ years) or high school diploma + 5+ years manufacturing experience
Minimum 2 years of leading manufacturing training/OJT or related operations/quality leadership in a plant
Experience building training that improves quality, safety, productivity, or time-to-competency

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end hourly production training (onboarding, OJT, cross-training, certification, refresher).
Set clear training expectations and competency requirements for core roles.
Ensure training is consistent across shifts and value streams.
Implement competency verification and control certification if standards are not met.
Develop trainer effectiveness through train-the-trainer and coaching.
Maintain audit-ready training records (LMS, skill matrices) and metrics.
Lead hourly training coordinators and align resources with plant growth.
