Job summary

CSS Staffing is seeking a Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician for a 6-month contract, onsite in Omaha. You will support 300–350 workstations, handle escalations, and assist with Windows migrations while delivering strong customer service in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, AD administration, and experience with ERP applications, with on-call and occasional Saturday coverage as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop support or similar IT experience.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting.
• Active Directory user administration experience.
• Experience imaging, deploying, or upgrading Windows workstations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Manufacturing or industrial IT experience preferred.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 desktop support across 300-350 workstations.
• Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, connectivity, and application issues.
• Perform Active Directory administration, including user accounts and permissions.
• Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 workstations.
• Assist with Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration.
• Troubleshoot ERP systems and other business applications per documentation.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates in Freshservice and onboarding of new devices.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional Saturday coverage.
